Love Story

I absolutely loved this song and arrangement! I just had to share it. He did this arrangement for his daughter who's favorite song is "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. I have to get some of his music now! Awesome!

Signs of Spring

Spring and Fall are my favorite times of the year and I'm starting to see the signs that it is Spring once again. We've got new babies, spring cleaning, Easter, and soccer. I love seeing the plants and flowers bloom too!

Okay, here's a shocker for you. This is the first time we've mopped the new floors since they were put in over 6 months ago! I'm sorry I just didn't feel up to it while I was pregnant and even after the baby was born till now. I finally just said to myself, it's time to just do it. Nikki tells me she loves to mop so I let her help of course.

And Spring soccer has started. Nikki has had 2 games already. She's hoping to kick a goal for her team sometime in the next few games.

Since Jack is too little for Easter candy, he got an Easter ducky instead, from Grandma Verne and Grandpa Tony. It's almost as big as he is.

And what's Easter without coloring eggs!

This is Jack next to his newborn cousin Maximus. Max is Nic and Celeste's baby. Luckily, Nic was able to make it from Iraq for the birth. Heavenly Father has definitely been looking out for both of our families. I don't know what we would've done without our husbands here Celeste.

Are you sure they are only 2 months apart?? Wow! Look at the difference! Jack was born on Feb 5th and Max was born on April 7th.

Two months and growing fast

Our little Jack is growing very fast! He had his 2 month well child check yesterday and guess how much he weighed......dum dum dum.... a whopping 14 lbs 6 oz!!! He's in the 95%tile for his weight gain and quite the little chunk for his age. He's also grown in length to 24 1/4 in and his head is 16.5 inches in circumference. 90%tile for both of those. Other than a little excema he is doing very well.

This was taken on Wednesday before going to Nikki's soccer practice. You would think it was still winter here. I wanted to make sure he stayed plenty warm and he certainly did.

This is what Garrett looked like the other day while he was taking a nap. He sleeps like his daddy. So cute!

A friend in our ward had some baby chicks in their garage, so I took the kids over to see them. Nikki loved them and wanted me to get one for her. Obviously, I said no. Garrett was more interested in the toy car he found in the garage and was playing with that instead. He pet the chick once but that was it.
