Well, here's the official announcement for our blog that everyone was waiting for. Yes, we are expecting baby #3! My due date is Feb 14th, Valentine's Day. I am currently 15 weeks along. We have heard the heart beat and so far everything is going well. We waited for a long time to tell anyone because I've had 2 miscarriages before and we wanted to make sure it would be safe. However, I don't know if I can keep it a secret that long next time around. I think I need the moral support either way.
Anyway, the cat's out of the bag and you can tell whoever you want about it! :)

Good news & great news!
Curtis's new job is going well. In fact, from the very first day they already moved him up to fork lift. So he'll be making more money than we thought but we don't know how much exactly just yet. Fortunately he gets tomorrow off since they finished up stuff early for the week. Now he can do some catching up on sleep. He's been working at the bakery at night and plumbing during the day this week. It's hard for both of us. I feel like a single parent but as he told me, at least I don't have to work. And now I have to get someone to watch my kids on Wednesdays so I can go to mutual (church youth group). It's going to be a headache for awhile but it will be worth it.
And here's some great news! Garrett had his cardiologist checkup yesterday and he's doing awesome! So good that the doctor didn't even do an ultrasound of his heart like he was planning to do. And so good that Garrett no longer has to take Aspirin. Yay! We are truly being blessed!

Update
I haven't felt like blogging lately even though I knew I had some pictures and things to blog about. But here's an update on our project: Curtis finished the roof last week (with help from some family); the insulators came and finished up their job today; Curtis ripped out the wall in our dining room and moved the sliding door to its new spot and also put the family room windows in; the siders started their job last week and finished it up today; the tape and texture guys started today also and should be finished by the end of the week. So here are pics of house and kids.
Nikki is always asking me to take pictures of her and I thought this one was pretty cute and worth sharing.

Even I got to help a little by taking down the curtain blinds. It wasn't much but I was glad to do it. Curtis tried to help me but I quickly slapped his hand away and told him "no, I want to do something".

Our dining room is bigger. Yay! Unfortunately now the kids keep running back there and getting white feet from the sheet rock that was cut over there and is all over the floor.
Here's Nikki's latest scrape she got at the park last Saturday. We were at Ann Morrison Park and she was running around in the water fountain with other kids and slipped and fell pretty hard, from the look of it. I didn't actually see it happen.
I'm showing off our new microwave that we recently acquired from Curtis's brother Nic and wife Celeste for a great deal. It's so nice to have the microwave above the stove now instead of all the way across the kitchen on a little stand. We gave our old one to my friend who didn't have a microwave right now.

Desperate measures
Well, with things so slow right now in the economy Curtis finally decided he needed a 2nd job to help provide for this family. So with the help of Laverne he was able to find a graveyard shift at Rhodes Bakery in Caldwell for $9/hr to start($9.50 after 30 days). He might be able to get other positions that will pay more. Curtis wants a graveyard shift so he can keep his days open for any plumbing jobs that come up. He had his orientation on Wed and said it looked like a really easy job. It's in production so he'll be doing easy stuff like grabbing dough balls from the coveyer belt and packaging them and stacking boxes & stuff like that. Curtis starts the job Sunday night at 11:45pm. Actually, the schedule is Mon-Fri from 12 am to either 7 or 8 am (or somewhere in between). It's going to be wierd for awhile but it is a seasonal job so it will only last until about the middle of December, probably right before Christmas. And I'm excited because he gets to bring something home from the bakery every day. Woo hoo! If we start to get backed up with baked goods, we'll have to start handing them out :)
As for our house, Curtis finished the roof yesterday with the help of our nephews and did some cleaning up (with the help of his sister Shauna). Today will be a big day of moving the dining room sliding door and cutting out the two small walls! The siders will also be starting today. They already dropped off their materials yesterday. Not sure what time they'll start. And either today or early next week we'll have the tape and texture guys here doing their job. We're going to need painters soon! The HVAC guys also did some more of their work yesterday. They haven't hooked up to the main house yet. He said they want the tape and texture finished before turning on the AC in the addition, so it won't be too long of a wait. Everything is going great! I just hope we don't run out of funds before the job is done. I can't help but worry but we should be fine.

Sheet rock
On Thursday and Friday Curtis hammered away at the sheet rock along with our brother in law Marc and his brother Nic. Even Nicole got in there and hammered a few nails. They were able to get the family room and hallway finished and the ceilings in the other rooms. Curtis will finish the rest of it tomorrow and also start shingling the roof. Just let us know if you want to help. Heck, if someone will come watch the kids for me, I'll go help myself. Sometimes it just kills me to have to sit back and watch everything when I would like to be helping. Not all of the time of course :)

"Breaking Dawn"
So this is me and my sister in law Celeste before going to the midnight release of "Breaking Dawn" Friday night. We used the iron on that came with our special edition of "Eclipse" and made matching "Team Edward" shirts. Our mother in law also came with us and we met my sister in law Michelle and her brother and sister at Borders book store in Boise. The party wasn't that great. We left there around 11:30 and headed over to Walmart to buy the book somewhere cheaper. Luckily we went to the midnight release because after all of us went through there were only about 12 copies left and still a long line of people waiting to get it. We found out the next day that Walmart in Boise and Nampa both sold out.
In between kids, house work, and church I read as much as I could and finally finished early this afternoon! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great book and a great ending to the Twilight series! I would have to say this was the best of the four books. Now I can't wait until the movie for Twilight comes out!!! Woo hoo!

Moving right along!
So a lot has happened with our addition in the last week. I was a little busy and preoccupied to blog anything until today, now that I've finished my book. Last week Curtis did the rough in of the plumbing work and had it inspected & passed. Then my dad came on Wed to start prepping for electrical. Curtis did more prep work the next two days. On Saturday we had Curtis, my dad, Curtis's brother Casey & son Kimball, and my brother Stillman all over for breakfast before they got to work pulling wires. (Michelle and kids came over too so we could read together) The electrical inspection passed this Tues as well as the HVAC (heating/AC). The framing did get a red tag but they fixed everything they needed to yesterday and the inspector should be here soon if not already. We also had the insulation put in yesterday. Yay! And already we had the sheet rock delivered first thing this morning. So Curtis put a new piece of sheet rock in the kid's bedroom and he's getting things ready for putting the sheet rock in. We'll be having family help us with this part of the project too. Our brother in law used to do sheet rocking. Thanks for all your help everyone!!!
