Nephew Jayden born

Welcome to Jayden, our newest nephew! He weighed the same as Garrett when he was born, 8 lbs 12 oz. He looks just like his big brother Alex.

At the doctor's office

Today Garrett had a follow up check on his ears. He had fluid in them but it has pretty much cleared out now, which means no tubes in his ears! Yay! The kids were fighting over sitting on the exam chair so I put both of them on there and had to capture the moment. As you can see, they were having a lot of fun at the doctor's office today. In the waiting room, they were running around in circles and laughing as they went. It's so great to see Garrett back to normal again.

Future husband?

Just thought I would let everyone know that Nicole has already chosen the boy she's going to marry. And the lucky young man's name is Spencer! He's the son of our friends Rosie and Jarom. Nicole and Spencer have about 16 years before that could happen. We'll see if it lasts.

Sick day

There's not a lot to do around here when you're feeling sick and Mommy says you need to rest. Nicole was watching a movie and she didn't notice me take a picture of her.
She was throwing up all morning and couldn't even keep her water down. But finally she started to feel better by the afternoon. And even as I'm typing this, you wouldn't even know she was sick at all today as she's sitting on my lap and squeezing my cheeks together wanting me to say something so it will sound funny.

This was taken moments before I had to change his diaper and his clothes, since he still has diarrhea. He's been a little picky about what he wants to eat lately but part of that might be because he's getting another tooth on the top.

Garrett is enjoying his delicious banana at his seemingly new picnic table which is our plastic white stool. He's following in Nikki's footsteps with using the stool as a kid table.

Sunday Best

What better day to get a picture then on Sunday when you're usually looking you're best. I can't say I'm looking my best today but that's the way it goes, I'm my worst critic. I'm usually the one taking all the pictures so if I want to be in one I either need to take it myself or make Curtis do it. In this case, I did it myself.

Not very often is Curtis there to help me get the kids to church. Luckily, today was stake conference and the meeting he had this morning was cut short, otherwise I would've been late to church. He was in a hurry to leave at this point but I made him stop to get a picture since we had gotten a picture of everyone else.

There's our dashing little man all ready for church. Why is it that boys don't like to smile for the camera?

Ah, there's a smile! Today at stake conference out in the hall there was a little girl his age who kept hugging him and he kept trying to get away. At first, there were two girls and he liked standing by both of them but then when the one girl kept hugging him, he wasn't so sure. I think he's already playing hard to get.

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest one of all? Why me, of course!

Poor little tyke, all tuckered out. He loves that little couch. One of these days we'll get him his own that isn't girlie. In the meantime, if he wants to sit in a boy couch he'll just have to go over to his cousin's house (Alex), which has a Spider Man couch!
