BSU in Iraq
The BSU flag that we mailed over to Curtis in Iraq has finally been hung up in the dining facility at the military base! They even made a frame just for the flag. Here are pictures with some soldiers, Curtis, and the men who hung it up. Yay! Go Broncos! And many thanks to all the football players who signed the flag!

Boy blues
Jack received another new homemade blanket this week from his Grandma Marsha in Utah. I think it's crocheted but I'm not sure the difference between crocheted and knitted. Anyway, I love it! I especially love the color because I love yellow.

All smiles!
I had to show all of you the beautiful quilt that my Aunt Karen made for Jack. She has made a quilt for each of the kids now and I love them. This one is a little different than the first two. The quilt she made for Garrett has become Garrett's favorite blanket. He always has to sleep with it and carries it all over the house. Now I look forward to getting one each time I have a baby. I just love them and thank you so much Aunt Karen!

An update on Jack's rash. I called the nurse on Thurs and the doctor said it was just newborn rash and to keep an eye on it. He should grow out of it. It does look a little better. Sometimes it looks a little flaky. And sometimes he's pretty red and sometimes he's not. So we'll just wait and see what happens. Also, Jack has started to smile this last week. He officially smiled for me on Tues but I did not get a video or picture until yesterday. I've been getting him to smile more all the time. I love his smile!

Rash
Okay, I need some help on what I should (or shouldn't) do. Jack has had this rash the last couple of days and it is pretty much all over his head. Is it just something that's happening because he's growing and that it will clear out soon on its own or should I have the pediatrician look at him? I thought I'd ask everyone first in case you've had the same thing with your kids, before I go spending money needlessly on the doctor. Just before I took this picture I had cleaned his head over the sink and scrubbed it up pretty good in case it might be cradle cap or something like it. It's even on his ears too.
