Spring Choral Fusion 2026

Choral Fusion was another big hit this Spring and this time Jack, Charlotte and Alice all participated in the Spring show. They all loved doing it and the best part about it, was that we talked grandparents into coming to watch the show this time. Curtis's parents drove over on Friday, May 1st, and stayed until Sunday after Sacrament meeting. They went to the Saturday matinee show with us. Then my parents came on Sunday after their temple shift and stayed until Tuesday morning. They went to the Monday evening show with us. Everyone enjoyed it so much! The theme this spring was "Adventure is Out There". Jack had so many little parts in the show that we had no idea about; a singing solo, trumpet solo, voice impersonations (Perry the Platypus), swing dancing, dancing as an old man, etc. He loves to surprise us and of course we thoroughly enjoyed it!

I baked 10 dozen cookies for the concessions bake sale. Peanut butter cookies and Snickerdoodles. Everything was only $1.00 at the concession stand.

They are ready for their first show, which we did not attend because we wanted to spend time with my in-laws. (that was so hard for me to do, by the way...I wanted to attend EVERY show)

Saturday matinee. This is Charlotte's group, Mezzo Fusion.

The Mezzo and Junior Fusion sang together for one song.

Alice is in Junior Fusion. It was so sweet that her friend was holding hands with her and another girl on the other side of her.

He always manages to get a trumpet solo, even in show choir. He played for the song from "Up" called "Spirit of Adventure".

Jack played an old man for the song called "Valentine". It was so cute!

A view of the theater we were in before the final show on Monday. It used to be a movie theater. Obviously, all of the theater seats were torn out, and they used folding chairs with pads.

And a flip here! (sorry, the pictures were out of order)

We absolutely love watching the kids do these performances and the kids love participating! It will be hard to wait until the next show, which will be a holiday show in December. They get the summer break and then start up again in September for practicing and learning the new songs. I can't wait!
